MY THERAPEUTIC APPROACH

WELCOME TO BLACC - A PRACTICE FOR BLACK LIBERATION & COMMUNITY CARE.

Therapy is a chance for us to explore the inner workings of our minds, beliefs, and practices to live more holistic, fulfilling lives. I utilize a trauma-informed, solution-focused, client-centered approach – meaning that my role is to help you create solutions to your problems in a way that is both safe and supportive.

My practice is also rooted in anti-racism, anti-oppression, and social justice principles: meaning we will also explore the ways your life and experiences are impacted by the environments you live in today. Many of us have never been able to explore or process difficult emotions, nor approach relationships with authenticity, vulnerability, and compassion. Therefore, my goal is to provide an empowering space for you to honestly examine yourself to achieve your goals and liberation!

Looking forward to starting this journey with you!
